Open Source/Free CSS Templates & Layouts

Here are more free XHTML/CSS layouts I have snagged from various places on the web. I am not sure when these were created, but I found them more recently than those on our first page of free CSS templates; all of these have been added to the BestWeb Nashville site since December 2008.

(May 1, 2009) I will probably be adding some additional categories and grouping some of them according to features. For example, I will soon be building two (2) new low- to no-budget photography sites, so I may create a category for templates and layouts that I think would be fitting for sites that need to showcase photographs.

April 30, 2009 Batch

NOTE: I spent a few hours on the last day of April looking for more free CSS layouts, and I am in the process of adding them to this page. Most of them -- almost all -- have been added to the sections below; this April 30 section was created only for those that do not fit in another category.

Smashing Magazine

Andreas Viklund at http://andreasviklund.com/ has some of the best free CSS templates on the web -- at least that I have managed to find in all my hours of searching.

Arcsin

Arcsin at http://templates.arcsin.se/ is another of my preferred free CSS template designers; the look and feel are more consistent and of higher quality than most other purveyors of free CSS templates; many are listed on our first page of free CSS templates.
